Customised energy for continuous use
We supplied a high-performance and customised battery system for an industrial composting machine:
An 80 V / 1550 Ah trough battery with 40 PzS cells and a total weight of around 3.7 tonnes. The battery was adapted to the machine with millimetre precision - a real powerhouse for intensive industrial use.
Automatically safe - thanks to smart technology
An automatic Aquamatik system is used, which monitors the water level in the battery and tops it up automatically. There is no need for manual intervention - this saves time and reduces potential sources of error and safety risks.
An intelligent charger rounds off the system. Microprocessor-controlled, it equalises voltage fluctuations, protects against overheating, polarity reversal and short circuits - and thus ensures a gentle, reliable charging process in continuous operation.
Halve charging time - extend service life
The trough battery system, which is often found in forklift trucks, can be supplemented by an electrolyte circulation system (EUW). It prevents harmful acid stratification - one of the most common causes of capacity loss. With charging times of just six to six and a half hours (instead of the usual twelve), availability increases significantly - and operating costs are noticeably reduced.
