Customised packaging

From individual items to series production - AKKU SYS develops and customises battery pack solutions that are precisely tailored to your requirements. As a B2B partner for industry, trade and OEMs, we take care of the entire assembly process - including the selection of suitable cell chemistries (e.g. NiMH, NiCd) and assembly according to technical specifications.

Do you need special connections or have requirements regarding voltage, capacity or design? Our team will implement your specifications precisely.

Manufactured in Germany - for quality you can rely on

We manufacture our battery packs exclusively at our site in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. This ensures short distances, fast delivery times and consistent quality.

We work with tried-and-tested branded cells and carry out input measurements (cell voltage) and final pack tests during production. In this way, we ensure that voltage differences are recognised and, if necessary, compensated for by recharging. We carry out capacity tests if required.

Your advantages

  • Made in Germany

Our battery packs are assembled in Germany - with tested branded cells and experienced technical support.

  • Technical advice at eye level

Our customers appreciate the direct contact: Expert, practical advice for specialists from purchasing, technology or development.

  • High flexibility

Whether it's a one-off, small series or large order: we manufacture your battery packs efficiently and in line with your needs.

  • Fast delivery times

We keep standard packs in stock. We manufacture customised battery and rechargeable battery packs in a short time - thanks to well-established processes, streamlined workflows and high stock availability.

Customised - for a wide range of applications

Our packs consist of several cells that are connected in series or parallel as required - for the right voltage and capacity.

Simply tell us the desired parameters such as capacity, cell type, design and connection type - we will take care of the realisation.

Typical areas of application for our battery packs are

  • Medical technology (e.g. diagnostic and monitoring devices)
  • Safety-critical systems such as emergency lighting, alarm sensors or radio applications
  • Industrial applications (sensors, drives, control technology)
  • IoT devices (e.g. electronic door locks, sensor applications, data loggers)

Standardised battery packs

We stock an extensive range of common battery pack configurations, including those based on:

  • Ni-Cd and NiMH technologies
  • Voltages from 2.4 to over 24 V
  • Capacities for a wide range of energy requirements

Customised assembly

Do you need a battery pack with special cell dimensions and connections? We develop and manufacture customised packs - inclusive:

  • Series connection, parallel connection or combinations
  • Selection and arrangement of marker cells
  • Capacity adjustment
  • Selection of cell size, design and connection type
  • Shrink tubing

In addition to NiMH and NiCd-We do not assemble cells eitherrechargeable lithium battery packs.

Replacement and replica batteries

Whether for tools, emergency lights or special technology: we reconstruct existing packs using samples, photos or measurement data - especially for NiCd or NiMH technology.

For suitable applications - e.g. tool batteries - we offer cell replacement as a cost-effective alternative to the original from a certain quantity. The quality is at least the same as the original.

Important: The housing must be undamaged and non-destructive to open.

Disposal of used lead
Professional disposal of old lead
We take care of the certified and professional disposal of all types of batteries. In most cases, the raw materials can even be completely recycled.

Frequently asked questions

Do you have questions about battery packs?

Here you will find a summary of general questions and answers.

If your question is not listed, please contact us.

We will be happy to help you.

Does it make sense to replace cells or should a battery pack be completely remanufactured?

Replacing cells only makes sense for certain NiCd or NiMH device batteries, provided the housing is undamaged. With lithium-ion batteries, the effort is usually not economical - in addition, the BMS may malfunction after cell replacement.

Can battery packs be replicated 1:1 for existing devices - even without the original data sheet?

Yes, we reconstruct battery packs based on samples, photos or measurement data - even if the original data sheet is no longer available. We pay attention to electrical compatibility, mechanical fit and connection variants. Depending on your requirements, we can reproduce the pack identically or improve it technically.

How quickly can a customised battery pack be manufactured?

The delivery time depends on the complexity and quantity. We usually produce customised packs within a few weeks - sometimes even faster if the specifications are clear. In urgent cases, we recommend early coordination.

We deliver standard packs from stock within a few days.

Do I need a customised pack for simple applications such as an emergency light?
Not necessarily. We stock suitable battery packs for many standard applications - such as emergency and safety lighting or smoke extraction systems. However, if you have special requirements in terms of shape, connection or compliance with standards, we will be happy to check whether a customised solution makes more sense.
Does a battery pack need a battery management system (BMS)?

A BMS is only mandatory for lithium-ion battery packs. No BMS is used for lithium battery packs that we manufacture. A BMS is also not required for other technologies such as nickel-metal hydride (NiMH) or nickel-cadmium (NiCd).
