Halstenbek / Hamburg - For several years now, wholesaler AKKU SYS has been making its mark in the well-known ranking of the fastest-growing companies in Germany. In the list of "growth champions" (FOCUS BUSINESS, 14 October 2023), the professionals for solar and energy technology can be found in the wholesale category.
"We are looking forward to a successful defence of the Growth Champion award," comments Björn Nowosadtko, founder and Managing Director of wholesaler AKKU SYS from the Hamburg metropolitan region. In the past year 2022, the Group achieved as reported growth in sales of almost 75% with an increase in the number of employees of over 50%. The Group is also growing at an above-average rate in the current 2023 financial year. However, it is not yet clear whether the sporting records set in 2022 will be equalled.
Energy transition triggers considerable growth momentum
The purely organic growth of the AKKU SYS Group to date is only a preparation for future developments. Numerous political decisions in the market for renewable energy generation and storage as well as efficient utilisation by households, commercial enterprises, municipal or industrial complexes are to be expected in the next decade. Even in a tense economic situation, this market is growing in an anti-cyclical and clearly positive manner. "New opportunities are arising in this environment, which is why our Group is also looking at partnerships for inorganic growth," says Nowosadtko.
