Hamburg - In times of climate change and increasing traffic congestion, more and more people are looking for environmentally friendly and healthy alternatives to the car. One of these alternatives is the bicycle. This is exactly where the JobRad programme comes in, which is now available to all AKKU SYS employees.
The JobRad programme enables the leasing of bicycles. The monthly bike leasing instalments are financed through salary conversion. An instalment payment for the JobRad is used from the gross salary, which also has tax advantages. In return, the company bike, which is also insured in this way, can be used for commuting to work and for private journeys, and even regular maintenance is organised - a win-win situation for both employee and employer.

In addition to the financial and ecological incentives for switching to a bicycle, the health aspects are particularly important. The JobRad is also particularly interesting for those who have to cover longer distances. Here, the use of bicycles with an electric motor is recommended. "As a specialist in battery technology, we will of course recommend particularly good e-bikes to our employees and test a lot ourselves. There will certainly also be field reports here," announces Björn Nowosadtko, Managing Director of AKKU SYS. Thanks to the extensive solar and storage installations on company buildings, green electricity can be provided directly to power e-bikes.
