The prices for Lead batteries are subject to strong fluctuations. These fluctuations are only natural, as the purchase price is dependent on the US dollar exchange rate and the global market price for lead.
Fixed prices for rechargeable batteries are therefore only possible if the retailer has included very large safety buffers in his calculations to absorb rising commodity prices. At the same time, falling commodity prices increase the retailer's profit margins with a constant price concept.
The fairest pricing concept is therefore a price structure that is regularly orientated to the fluctuations in the world market for the US dollar and for lead. A falling lead price and a strengthening euro must result in falling purchase prices for you and vice versa.
Basically you have two possibilities current prices. If you have already activated your account for the shop, you can all prices in the shop area view. At the same time, after each price update you will receive a Mail with the current price list for the most common products in your sector.

Batteries age from the time of production. Particularly deep discharging and the number of charging and final charging processes have an enormous impact on the service life. For these reasons, it is only natural that batteries lose capacity over time. This is reflected in reduced ranges or operating times. To test a battery, it is first fully charged and then the current drawn is measured. This test is very time-consuming. A quick test is not possible to determine the capacity. The necessary test equipment can be purchased from AKKU SYS. Of course, we can also carry out this test for you. Please contact us in advance by telephone.
If you wish to make a complaint about a battery purchased from AKKU SYS, please send us the defective battery together with the warranty claim form and a copy of the invoice. Please note that only fully completed claim forms can be processed by us.
The warranty is based on the existing statutory provisions. The Statutory warranty period amounts to 2 years and begins with the delivery of the battery.
The warranty for the batteries supplied is initially limited to the right to repair or replacement. In the event of incorrect operation and improper use of the goods, the customer shall bear the costs of rectification.
All rechargeable and non-rechargeable batteries purchased from us will be disposed of properly. Please send us the old rechargeable batteries and batteries.
For larger quantities of lead batteries, we can also collect them from you. Please give us a short call. If you have quantities > 100 kg, a payment is possible. We will be happy to make you a purchase offer.
Yesthat is possible. It is important that it is the same type, with identical voltage and capacity.
The battery acid is fixed in both cases. This means that in the gel battery, the battery acid is thickened by the addition of silica. This gives it a gel-like consistency.
In an AGM battery, the battery acid is absorbed by a glass fibre mat. AGM stands for "Absorbent Glass Mat", i.e. the acid is absorbed by a glass fibre mat.
Both battery types can therefore be operated regardless of their position, i.e. no acid leaks out, even if the batteries are laid on their side.
People often ask which battery type is better? There is no general answer to this question because it always depends on the application and the requirements. Both types have different strengths and weaknesses.
