Workation - a symbiosis of work and holiday - is becoming increasingly attractive. Most companies have firmly integrated remote working, mobile working and working from home into their work structures, but for the most part not voluntarily. As we know, it was the coronavirus pandemic that forced a rethink.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, while many companies are at least partially tying their employees back to their desks, colleagues are even leaving the country, at least temporarily, with the support of the wholesaler. After all, Workation offers employees the opportunity to work from anywhere in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vanessa Wurster (Head of E-Commerce) und Lisa Bleser (Head of Online-Marketing) haben das Konzept der Workation erfolgreich bei AKKU SYS eingef\u00fchrt. W\u00e4hrend ihrer dreimonatigen Tour durch S\u00fcdamerika konnten sie ihre Arbeit problemlos mit Kultur- und Spracherfahrungen verkn\u00fcpfen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"We adapted our working hours to the time difference and were therefore able to work efficiently with the team. After work, we also had enough time to explore new places and immerse ourselves in the Latin American culture,\" reports Vanessa Wurster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The work was organised effectively through careful planning and the use of efficient communication tools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the background interview, the two give numerous tips and emphasise what you should look out for. They are certain of one thing: the workation also gave them the opportunity to organise their free time in a variety of ways, from sightseeing and visiting museums to taking part in the famous carnival in Rio and hiking to Machu Picchu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
